Yarp!
No idea what that means? Go see Hot Fuzz. If not simply for the definition of that word, then to laugh your butt off. Laugh it off enough that you slide out of the seat since you can't sit down without one and watch from the floor. But seriously, you should see it. Before you see it, though, watch Shaun Of The Dead. It is by the same guys, has the same actors, and the same style of comedy. The comedy is very very subtle and hard to catch unless you're actually watching it sometimes. Some people go to a comedy waiting for Will Ferrell lines and Jim Carrey antics. Not here. The whole movie is one big joke.

They throw out obvious stabs at Bad Boys II and Point Break (2 fantastic movies, by the way). Mocking the "a little too close" relationship between partners in cop movies. It's just too funny and gets better every minute. Even a nice twist, too. And a twist on the twist. I'm not going to ruin the movie, but I'm just saying GO SEE IT! And I don't want to hear you don't have enough time. Not enough time to sit down, enjoy some Eisenberg hotdogs (yea, look at the menu at the snack bar next time--no relation, though), and have some legit laughs? Go when you've got a couple hours to spare. It's worth it. At least, in my opinion. If you hate it so much that you actually have to leave the theaters, send me your address and I will personally reimburse you.

Glad to hear you liked Hot Fuzz. My daughter & I went to see it on her 21st b-day, and the dozen or so people in the theatre with us were howling and shrieking with laughter. We love British humor. I guess that should be humour, wouldn't it?
Enjoy the blogs. Hope to see you pitch when the team returns to NC.
